Coloured overlays and colorimetry

Those who suffer from Dyslexia, Migraine and Photosensitive Epilepsy commonly suffer from visual stress on a daily basis. Visual stress is most frequently noticed when looking at striped patterns such as lines of text.

Research has shown that around 20% of the population suffer from visual stress, and a specific coloured overlay or special precision tinted lens can relieve their symptoms of eyestrain and headaches, and dramatically reduce episodes of migraine and photosensitive epilepsy.

It is important to find the correct colour for each individual and when this has been prescribed, a number of aspects of reading can improve, including attention span, reading speed, fluency and comprehension.
